Get ready for 2022: 2 hour review and reflection workshop

A two-part series workshop to get a headstart on the year 2022 with Ayush Jain.

2020 was a heck of a year, and 2021 didn’t disappoint either. As we come to the end of two game-changing years, we wanted to offer an opportunity to distill the good stuff, and the lessons, to tie up loose ends for 2021, and start to feel into what 2022 may look like for you.

Join us for a two-hour workshop with Ayush Jain where we will do just that. Take the time to work out what to take forward, what to leave behind, and celebrate the wins and milestones we have reached as well.

Ayush is a Learning Designer at EntryLevel, creating virtual learning experiences that help job seekers break out of the no-experience, no job cycle.

Prior to this, Ayush worked as a Crowdfunding Coach and Learning Programs Manager at StartSomeGood, empowering and supporting social entrepreneurs making a difference in their community. In his previous roles at SPARK Deakin in Melbourne and Techstars in Bangalore, he helped run an accelerator program and interacted directly with over 30 early-stage startups.

Ayush has lived, studied, and worked in major international cities such as Singapore, Dubai, and Sydney. He has also worked on projects with multinational corporations to startups such as the Woolworths Group, Lowe Lintas Group, State Bank of India, and Social Change Central.

He also writes a newsletter called Design Your Learning, to help growth-minded people learn effectively and craft self-directed learning plans.

You can expect

  • resources to guide you through your reflections
  • a warm and welcoming environment
  • an open dialogue on how to take stock of the good and the bad

Whether you have an idea, a full-blown startup, or are simply entrepreneurially inclined we would love to invite you into the room and into our community.

This is a crucial step that will only set you up to get more out of Ayush’s second workshop in January 2022. The follow-up workshop will take this work and lead into goal-setting and planning out the first quarter of 2022 – you can register for Workshop Two here.

Community Hangout: Meet + Greet other Founders and Entrepreneurs

Come and join us to celebrate the end of another year with the SPARK Deakin community!

Join us for our first in-person community hangout as we close out 2021.

It’s been a whirlwind of a year and if you’re anything like us, you’re probably tired of attending another virtual event. BYO Zoom parties just don’t feel the same!

So we said, “let’s not do that!” and instead, we’ll hangout in-person and celebrate together. We’re all due for socialising beyond our laptop screens.

Meet the SPARK Deakin team, mentors, student cohorts, and more! 🌟

Come along to Deakin Downtown (tower 2 level 13/727 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3008) on December 17 from 5 PM.

Enjoy chats over dinner, wine (with a few selections of Non-Alcoholic drinks), and the chance to connect and celebrate with other SPARK peeps.

We hope to see you there!

Note: To attend this event, you must carry Proof of Vaccination with you and produce it for inspection if requested, complete QR check-in upon entry or provide your contact details and follow face mask rules.

Kickstart your startup in 2022: a 360 degrees goal setting workshop

Planning, productivity, and life design workshop with Ayush Jain.

The calendar has clicked over, the sleep-ins were good and the summer of fun is in full swing. With all of those 2021 cobwebs blown out you are in the perfect position to ponder and plan your way into the first quarter of 2022.

Join us for a two-hour workshop with Ayush Jain where we will do just that.

Following on from the first workshop in December (Recording will be available HERE) let’s take your malleable holiday brain and gently put it into gear and start to map out what 2022 is going to look like for you. This is a part planning and productivity, and part life design. The goal is to have plans that you are excited to bring to life, feel great on the journey, and not be left burnt out and cranky with a to-list that never got done.

You can expect

  • resources to guide you through your planning and inspired action
  • a warm and welcoming environment with real advice and open dialogue around goal setting
  • to walk away with a 12-week plan to set you off in the direction of your dreams.

Come by yourself, or bring a friend so you have an accountability buddy going forward. Either way, you do not want to miss out!
