At SPARK Deakin we exist to create a thriving society powered by Deakin founders through empowering students, staff, and alumni to be impactful entrepreneurs. Our Acccelerator program offers funding, mentorship and access to office space for early stage entrepreneurs.
Applications are now open for the 2019 Accelerator Program with $60,000 of perks, and for the first time ever:

It’s a 3 month intensive program jam packed with mentors and industry to accelerator your and your startup’s growth

We’ll be selecting the top 10 teams BUT also supporting up to 10 additional places for eager startups to receive all the below benefits including access to co-working space except the cash funding.

Our accelerator is now officially a Google for Startups partner accelerator meaning startups will receive up to $20,000 in credit* for 1 year.

Although this isn’t the first time, we are particularly interested in seeing more female founders apply in 2019.

Selected teams will go through an intensive 3-month journey centered around a series of masterclasses and mentoring sessions to boost their growth plus be part of a community of generous, committed and passionate entrepreneurs

Who do we fund?
We fund startups from all categories and help passionate teams with a commitment to pursuing their business full time, get the help they need. One team member must be affiliated to Deakin University (student, staff or alum).
Our accelerator program includes:

Up to $60 000 value including $10 000 equity free funding.

12 weeks of regular workshops on the key drivers to grow your startup- customer development, sales, marketing, building your team, investment and pitching.

Access to CBD co-working space for 6 months at Deakin Downtown (727 Collins St Melbourne) that offers the next level of sophisticated, technology-rich, flexible spaces for meetings and workshops. 3 months are essential and an additional 3 months is optional (valued at $36,000)
