Julie Christy, Group Executive – Product and Business Innovation at Cotton On Group will be answering these questions at our upcoming event. Geelong has been the home for the Cotton On group since it established as a single brand. Julie joined Cotton on 13 years ago and has since spearheaded the establishment of Cotton On BODY, Rubi and Typo.

With the customer always top of mind, Julie has an innate ability to forecast trends and continues to be pivotal in steering the direction of the Group.

Chris Thompson, Director of Operations and Finance at Deakin University and a SPARK@Deakin mentor will be chatting with Julie in a Q&A format at our Waurn Ponds campus.

SPARK@Deakin is an experiential program designed to give students, staff and alumni an opportunity to see and relate to the early stages of the entrepreneurial path. The program includes an opportunity to pitch for up to $20 000 funding, mentorship and office space as well as a series of entrepreneurial events, focusing on educating and training aspirant entrepreneurs regarding how to approach a project from a commercial perspective.
